Doctors
Dr. Kwee-Lian Lim
MBBS (Hons & Bronze Medallist), FRACGP
Dr Lim graduated from the University of Malaya (Kuala Lumpur) in 1987 with Distinction and several academic prizes. She was awarded Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1995.
Dr Lim’s special interests include infant, child and adolescent health, women’s health, and preventative medicine. She sees the patient as a whole person.
Dr. Basil Lau
MBBS, FRACGP Dip. Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Dip. Anaesthetics. Cert Family Planning, Cert Acupuncture
Dr. Lau graduated from the University of New South Wales in 1984. He has worked at St Vincent’s hospital in Sydney as well as hospitals in Malaysia, UK and New Zealand before settling in Canberra. Dr Lau obtained his Diploma in Anaesthetics in the UK and his Diploma in Obstetrics in the then Woden Valley Hospital. He has been in general practice in Canberra since 1990.
Dr Lau’s special interests include antenatal care, minor surgery, travel medicine, sports medicine, diabetes, and asthma.
