Introduction

Dr. Kwee-Lian Lim

MBBS (Hons & Bronze Medallist), FRACGP

Dr Lim graduated from the University of Malaya (Kuala Lumpur) in 1987 with Distinction and several academic prizes.  She was awarded Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1995.

Dr Lim’s special interests include infant, child and adolescent health, women’s health, and preventative medicine. She sees the patient as a whole person.

Dr. Basil Lau

MBBS, FRACGP Dip. Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Dip. Anaesthetics. Cert Family Planning, Cert Acupuncture

Dr. Lau graduated from the University of New South Wales in 1984.  Dr Lau has worked at St Vincent’s hospital in Sydney as well as hospitals in Malaysia, UK and New Zealand before settling in Canberra. Dr Lau obtained his Diploma in Anaesthetics in the UK and his Diploma in Obstetrics in the then Woden Valley Hospital.  He has been in general practice in Canberra since 1990.

Dr Lau’s special interests include antenatal care, minor surgery, travel medicine, sports medicine, diabetes, and asthma.

Making an Appointment

We try very hard to run on time. If you have multiple problems to discuss or a mental health issue, please ask for a longer appointment.

Home Visits

Home Visits are available for regular patients of the practice who cannot attend the practice due to their medical condition.

Telephoning your doctor

Doctors will usually return calls during lunchtime or when next available to do so.

Language

Interpreter services through TIS 131450 can be arranged for those with language difficulties.
